Raptor Conservation in Altai

The Altai Project has been supporting the study and protection of endangered raptors like the Saker falcon, eastern imperial eagle, and steppe eagle since 2010.

Saving Snow Leopards

The Snow leopard is considered endangered across its entire range in Central Asia, including in Russia. As of 2014, fewer than 100 snow leopards remain in Russia, mostly in the Altai-Sayan Ecoregion.
